As we look back over this year so far, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for how good God has been to Unity 4 Quartet. What a journey it has been, and what a faithful God we serve!

This summer, the Lord opened doors for us to be part of some incredible events that we will never forget. We were honored to sing on the stage of the Memphis Quartet Show, standing alongside groups we have admired for years. Soon after, we were invited to be featured at the Leon Frazier Memorial Sing, sharing the platform with The Inspirations and so many others who are faithfully carrying the message of the Gospel in song.

God’s blessings continued as we traveled to Branson, MO, for the Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City. Over the course of two days, we sang eight concerts, and one of those services recorded the largest attendance ever at Dockside Theater! Thousands heard the message of hope in Jesus, and we were humbled that the Lord allowed us to be a part of it.

We are amazed at what God has done, not just for Unity 4, but for the message of His saving grace that continues to go out through Southern Gospel music. Our desire is simple: to lift high the name of Jesus and remind people everywhere that He is still faithful, He still saves, and He still deserves all the glory.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every pastor, promoter, friend, and fan who has prayed for us, encouraged us, and supported this ministry. We can truly say: “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (Psalm 126:3 KJV).

Title: How Good God Has Been – A Year of Blessings and Big Opportunities

As we reflect on this year so far, all we can say is: God has been so good to Unity 4 Quartet. From the stages we’ve been blessed to sing on, to the lives we’ve touched through our music, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the doors the Lord continues to open.

This ministry has always been about more than just singing—it’s about sharing hope, joy, and the Gospel message through rich four-part harmony. And this year, God has expanded our territory in ways we never imagined.

Our current radio single, “Cast Your Cares,” is climbing the charts and is now in the Top 10 on the Real Southern Gospel Chart—and still moving up! Your support, prayers, and radio requests have made all the difference. Our previous single, “Back To The Well,” also brought in tremendous encouragement, breaking into the Top 70 Real Southern Gospel Songs of the Year for 2024. We’re humbled and grateful for how God is using these songs to minister to hearts.

And now, we’re thrilled to share some exciting news about where He’s leading us next!

Upcoming Highlights:

• Memphis Quartet Show – We’re honored to be part of this prestigious event in June, sharing the stage with some of the greatest names in gospel music. It’s a dream come true and a moment we don’t take lightly.

• Leon Frazier Memorial Concert – This special night is dear to our hearts. Leon’s legacy of music and ministry continues to inspire, and we’re thankful to lift up the name of Jesus alongside others who loved and respected him.

• Southern Gospel Picnic at Silver Dollar City – This August, we’ll be bringing our harmony to one of the most joyful celebrations of southern gospel in the country. It’s a festival filled with faith, family, and great music—and we can’t wait to be part of it!

We also have our new album, “Nothing Occurs To God” coming out later this month! We can’t wait for you to hear some brand new music from Unity 4! 

None of this would be possible without your prayers, encouragement, and support. You’ve helped carry this ministry forward, and we want you to know how much that means to us. Keep watching our website and social media for concert dates, new music (yes, we’ve got some big things coming!), and ways to connect with us. Most of all, keep us in your prayers as we continue to sing about a Savior who never fails.

We had the opportunity to sing at a church recently that we believe is a snapshot of what Heaven will be like.  We sing in churches of various denominations such as Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, and Church of God, just to name a few.  Every denomination has something that differentiates them from the others.  It may be something simple or something complex.  However, if each denomination agrees that Jesus is the Son of God and He is the only way to Heaven, that is all that matters.  You see, at this church, we had the pleasure of singing, their congregation is made up of multiple denominations from Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Church of Christ, Presbyterian, and more!  This congregation worships together week in and week out.  They have been raised in differing denominations all of their lives in some cases.  However, they worship together despite what denomination of the person sitting next to them in church.  Isn't that amazing?  We get so hung up on things that don't matter when it comes to the eternal destination of our soul that we miss what does matter:  Jesus!  Isn't this what Heaven will be like?  Heaven will be comprised of men and women of all denominations, of all skin color, of varying degrees of intelligence, those short in stature, those great in stature.  Heaven will be filled with so many different types of people!  This church was an Earthly example of how Heaven will be.  People of all races, all denominations, worshiping together!  They worship together and love each other like Jesus instructs us to do.  So, I will leave you with this thought.  Don't get hung up on the things that do not matter.  Share Jesus with everybody.  Be somebody that a lost person with no hope can look at and see a difference in you than they see in themselves.  Be that shining light!  Be happy!  We should be showing those around us what a Christian should be and should act like.  Let's strive to be more like Jesus today than we did yesterday!  Tell someone that you love them!  Be an encouragement to someone.  Compliment someone with no ulterior motives.  Just be kind!  Be Christ-like today, tomorrow, and every day following!

NOTE:  This is my first blog post ever.  I hope to make weekly blogs of just things that are on my mind.  They may not be things that are of any import to anybody but me, but I will share hoping that God will use something I write to be an encouragement to you!  So, without further adieu, here is my first blog:

As I was lying in the bed this morning (at 3:30 a.m. because the time change has really rocked my sleeping habits) I could not help but think of how grateful I am.  I am grateful most of all for salvation and for what Jesus did that day at Calvary!  I am grateful for my wife and two wonderful children.  I am grateful for my mom, dad, step-parents, siblings, step-siblings, cousins, and all of my family and friends!  I am grateful for the ability to sing with the best quartet guys on the planet.  I am grateful for each and every one of you, Unity 4 family (I started to use “fans” but you are family to us.).  I am grateful to live in the greatest country on the planet, the United States of America.  Sure, we have our problems, but I would rather live here than any other country in the world.  I am grateful for my job of 17 ½ years.  I am grateful for my co-workers.  I am grateful for my health.  Do you see where I am going with this?  I have been typing this list and more and more blessings come to mind.  When was the last time that you stopped and just said, “Thank you, Lord, for your blessings on me.”  I urge you to stop and write down what you are grateful for.  The list will be quite long and it will really make you think.  I expect your health will be on this list, too.  Notice, I did not put my health on my list until the end of this non-exhaustive list,  even though I am so very grateful for my health.  I wonder if we even think about our health.  Do you know when we usually notice our health?  When our health begins to worsen.  That is when we are thankful for good health, when we have bad health.  We are all guilty of this, myself included!  Let us all take a moment and be thankful.  Write down what you are grateful for, and you will realize how blessed you are!   Once you write down your areas of gratefulness, try to write down those things that bring you down, the bad things going on in your life.  I assure you that your blessings will far outweigh the burdens in your life.  God bless you and until next time!
